HAGE LED
D e s i g n
Suitable small and large indoor spaces.
The transparent PVC cover is best where aesthetic is not very important but the LED modules require protection.
Thanks to the transparency of the cover, the light output us optmal. Fully transpqrent covers should be used
on high ceiling. On low ceilings it can be unconfortable for the eyes. Where aesthetic is more important, the half-round
satine variant is recommended.
This model is made of one light rail composed with a
customized number of light spots. This model can include, and conceal, a power supply only up to 35W,
equivalent for 3 LED modules, or ±3000 lm. Larger power supplies have to be installed in
a separate location or in a separate enclosure next to it. Separate from its power supply, the appliance can be smaller,
and very small in regard to its light output.
The white PVC is better on lower ceilings or where aesthetic is a little bit more important. Because of the white shade,
the light output is not as optimal as with a transparent cover. Where aesthetic is very important it's recommended to
use the half-round white satine variant instead.
Where the LED modules don't need protection, they can be used without any cover at all. On this case the light ouput is
the most optimised. The LED's also stay at a lower temperature, improving their long term performence. There is no risk
to use LED modules without protection because they are powered with low voltage.
Where aesthetic is not very important, the box containing the power supply and electronic can be any
standard ABS or PC connection box. For better looking designs, we recommend our PMMA or Simopor Light box designed
with the right size.
The size of this box depends on the power of the light and on the additional electronic components. On the pictures below,
the box is quiet large because it contains a strong power supply and several extra components. In simple set ups,
it's smaller.
To improve the interior design, or for technical or safety reasons, the power supply box can be separate from the light
appliance. For example, it can be on the wall, while the light appliance is on the ceiling. In this case, 1.5mm or
2.5mm wires should connect the box to the light appiance. Our LED modules can be adapted to be connected with wires
as large as 4mmm.
To further improve the design, one power supply can power several light appliances. The light appliances are much smaller
without the power supply box.
Indoor use only. This model is not water proof. For outdoor use, see LR1RAIN.
This picture shows an appliance with with 7 light spots and transparent cover.
It's typically adjusted between 50W (6000 lm) and 70W (8400 lm).
Each of them can be set to be turned on or off when the secondary switch is actuated.
The same model can be made with less or more light spots, different lenghts and different options.
The pictures below show the difference between transparent and white covers
as well as when the light is on and off.
